Companions Travel for Just $599*; Add-on to Cape Town only $60* One Way

 

Fort Lauderdale, FL (March 5, 2008) – South African Airways (SAA) announced “Fam-tastic” fares for travel agents that jet them to South Africa or Senegal for just $499* round trip, excluding taxes and fees.  Companions can fly for just $599* round trip.  The fares are available for purchase from now through March 31st for service from New York (JFK), to Johannesburg, South Africa, or Dakar, Senegal, and are valid for flights departing from April 19th through April 30th.  Travel must be completed by May 5th.  Low add-on fares are available for travel to certain cities within South Africa in conjunction with the transatlantic “Fam-tastic” fares:

• Between Johannesburg and Cape Town or Port Elizabeth:	$60* one way
• Between Johannesburg and East London:	$50* one way
• Between Johannesburg and Durban:	$40* one way
• Between Cape Town and Durban:	$60* one way

All add-ons must be booked at the time of initial reservation, and the reservation must be ticketed within 48 hours.  To be eligible for the “Fam-tastic” fare, travel agents must call SAA’s reservation center at 1-800-722-9675 and submit a completed SAA “Fam-tastic” fare booking form that can be downloaded at www.flysaaspecials.com , along with a valid IATAN card and current travel agency IATA list to verify employment.  Reservations for the “Fam-tastic” fare cannot be booked through the GDS.
